Bunnie Flay-rah

In the book Watership Down, Flay-ray means rabbit food like lettuce and carrots. I thought I would put together a little Flay-ray table for my bunnies.
White bunnies from Home Goods.  Wrought iron white basket and picket fence runner from A Classy Flea in Atlanta.

I started the place setting with a neutral woven placemat topped with a rattan charger.  Semi-square round dishes are from OTP and dinner plates are Lenox Continental accent plates.
Each plates has a different spring vegetable.
Waterford goblets with embroidered OTP napkins.
Lanterns from Pier 1.

Grass from Michael's, but it took a week for the smell to go away.

A Host of Golden Daffodils

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

Cute Cynthia Rowley woven placemats from Home Goods
White Chargers from Ikea
222 Fifth Colorwheel yellow plates from Ross
Topped with a Mikasa Antique White salad plate

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Shop Till You Drop!

A work related meeting in Atlanta with paid hotel??? Don't ask me twice, I am there.  Shop before, shop after, no problem.

Love these frocks made from reclaimed upholstery material.  Probably really hot to wear, but so cute over skinny jeans.
Love the idea of raised solid runner.  This is a short one, but I envision a longer one.

I am obsessed with the idea of hanging things over the table.  Ideas are spinning in my head.

I don't think I have ever seen such a set of matched platters.

So many treasures!  I bought a few things that you will see in upcoming tables.
