Busy Weekends

I have had dinner guests every Friday for the last three weeks.  I love to entertain, but this is a lot, even for me.  I had to find a table I could put together fast and then be happy to live with for three weeks.

White Mikasa with aqua Artistic Accent plates from Home Goods.  I could only find six and wish I could find a few more.  All the dishes can go right in the dishwasher.
The chickens and the striped globes are also from Home Goods.

Wood candlesticks are from Ross.  Had to go to two stores to find two.

The goblets are from Target and don't tell anyone, but they are plastic.  Plastic can be beautiful, can't it?

Evening lights.
Morning light.
I love how the afternoon sunlight lites up the table.

Antique salt cellars with gray salt.

  10. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous color combination, Dianne! That really rocks! LOVE the bubby votives, too! I have similar plastic goblets that are clear. It is nearly impossible to tell!!! I got mine at Costco. They came with a set of dishes I bought there, and I thought, "What the heck!" I've only used them once so far, but they look great! I am glad to see you have been entertaining so much. I haven't been able to for several weeks, so someone else is doing it for me! I don't feel like such a slacker anymore! :-) Have a great weekend!

  15. This is a really pretty table scape! I'm sure each of your weekend guests enjoyed the care you took to create such a lovely table. The color combination is so beautiful. I never would have known those gorgeous goblets are plastic. The detail is wonderful. I love your plate stack and the crystal on the mirrored runner really adds some sparkle to the setting.

  16. I can't tell you how many times I drive from store to store to find enough of an item. I think that there is a whole sub-culture of us out there...LOL. I love the aqua and chocolate that you chose for your tablescape. Thank you for sharing your outstanding design. Cherry Kay
