It was time to gather all our friends and have a summer dinner. I had visions of a Utah desert inspired table, but when I opened the drawer and saw the quilted place mats, I quickly changed gears.

I just love the cheerfulness that red and white brings to a table! Daisy Mae wanted to make sure the olive oil on the table was up to her standards.

This is one of the BEST summer recipes for ripe tomatoes ever! I add fresh mozzarella or grilled Chicken strips, or both. It is very important to use only Angel Hair pasta.
Dianne, your table is dressed with happiness. Summer ripe tomatoes fit the mood here. The menu sounds delicious and healthy.
ReplyDeleteEnvious of your Annabells. I started to buy some heirloom hydrangeas this weekend so I'd have some to dry. I threw out the ones I'd had for years when I thought we were moving.
Glad to see you sharing a table. '-)
Such a cheerful table, Dianne! Love the tumbler, they have a vintage look to them. I know I have told you before, your table is gorgeous...and I drool each time I see a whole room shot!
ReplyDeleteOh, Dianne, what a happy table! I keep forgetting how crisp and red and white table can be. It looks so inviting, your guests are sure to have a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing this! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
