Even though it was raining, humid and in the 70's I ended up with a white Christmas on my table.
I knew for months I wanted to use the lighted paper trees from IKEA, but wasn't sure about anything else. As usual, everything came together at the last minute.
Mr Creative cut all the evergreen he could find from our yard and I pulled everything green and white I had and my sisters and I start putting it together. At first I didn't want to use the deer plates, but upon my sister's urging, we tried them and once I saw them on the table, they were perfect!
Charger from Pier 1, white plates unmarked, salad plates are Pottery Barn and napkin rings from World Market. White striped tumblers from Old Time Pottery. The lights under the greenery, twinkled all night.
Another wonderful Christmas in the books. Hope your's was merry and bright! Joining Tablescape Thursday
Dianne, I don't know how you could improve on the ambiance of this beautiful table setting. Love the lighted trees down the center, and the deer plates are the perfect snowy evening touch. Your gorgeous white tree is the piece de resistance. Looks like you and your family had a lovely celebration.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
Your tree is gorgeous -- I have always wanted to do an all-white tree. I never seem to find the trimmings at clearance so I guess everyone else wants it, too. The table is just perfect! I need to get to Ikea, although it is probably too late this year. Did you paint those candlesticks?
ReplyDeleteYour dining room has always been my favorite...dressed for Christmas, it is just stunning! Doing the table in green and white was a great idea, so beautiful. I love those twinkling lights and lighted paper trees.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a healthy and Happy New Year!
Oh, Dianne, what a lovely tablesetting. I love those lighted paper trees! Thank you for the video of the twinkling lights: I felt like I was right there enjoying the ambiance. All your components went together perfectly to achieve the atmosphere you were looking for. A perfect Christmas table. Bravo! Rosie @ The Magic Hutch
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolutely fabulous Christmas environment! That sounds a little sterile perhaps, but the room is not that by any means. It's just too perfectly pretty to just call a room, though!
ReplyDeleteI really like those paper trees from IKEA. We have one here now, but I have not yet had the physical stamina to withstand a day out there. I would like to go when I'm able to take my time and just stroll through looking at everything in my path! If it takes all day....well, so be it! :-)
Fantastic tablescape, Dianne! The plates worked out great (glad you decided to go with those!), and the entire table is perfect....as always!
Happy New Year!
