I attended the most wonderful wedding this past weekend. My friend's daughter married on a mountain top in Colorado. All weddings are beautiful in their own way, but this one was beautiful in a very unique way. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. (you can click on any photo to make it larger)
The wedding venue was in the backyard of a private home. The Mother of the Bride and me working on the flowers.
The bride and groom's dogs were the ring bearers.
While the guests congregated for cocktails around the fire pit on the side of the house, the area was transformed for dinner.
Burlap runners with the couples stenciled initials.
Lemon and Red Velvet cupcakes.

Wow! Such a beautiful wedding and the scenery too! I just loved the unique and personalized table settings, ring bearers and wedding canopy though the bridal boots were the best!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wedding. I love the simplicity of it after so many over the top weddings on TV. This is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful! A special day for a special couple. Love the dogs! (I had cats for attendants!). Have a delightful week!
ReplyDeleteLove the cowboy boots with the wedding dress.. It just doesn't get much better than that! Your photos are stunning. Such a beautiful wedding and the backdrop is just breathtaking..
ReplyDeleteMartha Pullen has a yearly Heirloom Market in Dallas, she also has her sewing school, martha's school of art fashion in Huntsville, Alabama twice every year. I used to teach at her Huntsville event and have once or twice taught in Dallas. I just don't do the teaching part anymore, right now..

ReplyDeleteA lovely bride and beautiful wedding. There are so many simple and great ideas, and the flowers were lovely. We had a wonderful country wedding with fil's horse drawn antique wagon and all, but I would love to do it again with these simple colours~and the cowboy boots.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it was a fun wedding! The flower arrangements are beautiful. It is certainly a beautiful setting, and all original!
