Red, White & True Blue

Since I will be packing this weekend for my Alaska cruise I won't be doing any Memorial Day entertaining.  I thought I would bring back a red, white and blue celebration table from way back before I was even blogging.

This table is from 2007 which is shortly after we moved into this house.  Many of your will probably recognize that the china cabinet on the brick wall has not been added.
Here's to a great holiday!  Thanks Kathleen for hosting Let's Dish

Your patriotic table is fabulous. Glad you brought it out of the archives. The patriotic sparkle down the center of my favorite table is the perfect festive touch. ~ Sarah

  8. I KNEW something looked empty about that dining room!!!! The CHINA CABINET is missing!!! Aha!!! Now I see it!!! You've been a terrific tablescaper from WAY back, huh? Look at how lavishly appointed that table is!!!! WOW!!! You always add a lot of neat details to your tablescapes that makes them extra special! I love to sit down to a table like this and just take it all in. It's the best way to kick of a great meal...or even a not-so-great-but-tolerable-because-the-table-is-so-pretty meal! :-) (That would be my house!!!) ;-)

Have a wonderful and safe trip. You KNOW I wish I could go!!! I'm such a big sissy when it comes to travel. I'm glad you will be able to take my place and have a good time for me!!!!!! Your tablescape could teach a thing or two to the cruise ship folks!!!

Have a great time, be safe, and let us know how it goes!!!

  12. So pretty and soooo inviting. I am your newest follower and I love your front porch. I too did some catered weddings, am a floral designer and love decorating a table for any special occasion....it's not just about the food but how you present it that makes it extra special. Enjoying reading your blog.
