My Version of Fall

I tend to avoid the traditional Halloween decorations in October.  I bought some black this year, but when I set the table, I went for a more subtle color palette.

The morning sun was streaming in.

An assortment of gourds from Walmart paired with some dried hydrangea and Hedge Apples collected on the the side of the road.

A few Sage leaves to offer a Fall scent.

I hope you have a wonderful Hallow's Eve and the weather is safe where you are.  Thank you for your visit.
I will be linking up with the following:

  1. Beautiful table and lovely dining room! I love your White dishes, they're so pretty and the centerpiece is awesome. I love Fall dinner tables and parties. I am not great with the Halloween situation, my daughter is because of her Young girls. Although I did a Halloween table before this last post, anyway! I love your setting!

  5. The kiss of the sun elevates your beautiful tables cape right up to work of art. I've always really like crab apples....their lumpy, bumpy texture always adds such a delightful element. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

  8. This is one of the prettiest fall tables I have seen, Dianne. It is extra special with the sun shining on it. Are those green dishes or is it just the way the light is hitting them? I have them in white, aqua and green. Love the fresh produce centerpiece and the tall candle holders.
    Have a wonderful week...

  13. First of all, I love your furniture. I have my daddy's desk chair from when he was a young boy and it looks just like your chairs. Love it. Secondly, the beautiful soft greens with the tans and bits of orange so soothing and mellow. Makes one really long to linger at your table.

  17. I simply wanted to appreciate you yet again. I am not sure what I would have used without the type of information shared by you directly on such a subject. This was a very alarming setting in my view, however , spending time with a skilled mode you handled that made me to cry for fulfillment. I am just happy for this information and thus hope you are aware of a great job you are doing teaching most people using a blog. I know that you’ve never got to know all of us.
