Hearts and Flowers

How is it that Valentine's Day sneaks up me every year?  It's not like I don't know a year in advance that it's coming, but I always find myself running like crazy to do something romantic for my sweet husband.  It's hard to find romance on the fly!  
I decided to set up a small table near the front window to keep it simple.
I used several items that I had around the house.  The tablecloth is actually a Christmas tree skirt.  Well truthfully it was a table cloth and I made it a skirt and now it's back to a tablecloth.

Sweet little birds from Michaels.
Matching placemats and napkins from Austria.  A gift from my sweet MIL.  


I hope everyone has a sweet and loving valentine to snuggle with!

    As I was running around after work trying to figure this v-day thing out.. why why why I said. But I had honestly been trying to come up with something all week. And then I figured it out.. but it won't be here till friday! Darned me. I love your sweet table. The linens are so wonderful. Do tell about those gorgeous salad plates..     I hate it that because I'm on WordPress that I can't get an email alert of your posts! I end up missing some, and that is upsetting! I'm glad I went on a "fishing expedition" so as to find this one! :-) Your table is perfect for a sweet little tete a tete! The size of the table brings you physically close together...quite intimate! The colors on the table get your heart racing...very romantic! I am totally intrigued by the shape of your candlesticks. They're so curvy! They remind me of a very shapely woman in an evening gown. Sofia Vergara in an evening gown, to be exact! :-) Beautiful!!!
