Rather than mess up the big table, I decided to set up my drop leaf table at the end of the dining room for the four of us. Then I received another call asking if some friends that were also flying in at the same time could join us. So I took the table for four apart, added a leaf and reset it for six.
I have already posted on the larger table HERE. I love our decision to use our sunroom as a dining room. It's so great to have so much space.
The cute vegetable plates were an anniversary gift from my hubby. Perfect for a dietitian don't you think? The crystal sherbets were found at a Classy Flea. I am a big fan of simple cuts with clean lines.
When the table changed to six, I had to change the salad plates because I only have four of the vegetable plates.
Green glassware was a great find at a local linen store for only $.49 each! Stemware is from Old Time Pottery, or as my dearest friend calls it, "Pottery To You".
We had a wonderful dinner of white chili soup, cheesy cornbread and strawberry tall cake with good friends, by another fun time with family the next night. I am linking with my favorite:http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/
First of all...this is a GREAT room for dining and entertaining. I love, love, love it! I like the blue bowl on the hutch that draws the blue on your large table into the setting for your green and white table.
ReplyDeleteOH yes dining in the sunroom would be wonderful! You are one dedicated scaper to set yet another table, then take it down to add more! LOL! What a great friend you must be! I love your green floral dishes too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful dining in the sunroom! How pretty your table setting is The green and white combination is so pretty -- those veggie plates are charming.
ReplyDeleteThat room is the most beautiful with all those windows and room for two tables. What a great idea. The veggie plates are great! Love the green table as much as the blue one. The green and white plates are absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteGreen is my favorite color, so you know I ♥ this table! I am very envious of your large dining area.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your lovely comments and for liking the hand decorated and hand made by the "wheel", it means, no molds. My hubby owned a Ceramic factory for 30 years and there I designed china, (dishes) inspired on the embroidered clothing of the Ecuadorian indian people. If you'd like you can visit my post: "Thanksgiving 2010"... for a whole view of an entire of china and accessories.
